Kids & Teens Term Time Art Classes
Art Box Workshops is held within the inspiring surroundings of an artist’s studio gallery. Our goal is to give the students a skill based, fun art experience in a supportive environment, as well as to instil a lifelong appreciation for art. The Art Box Workshops curriculum is designed to build the student’s art experiences in each lesson. With our guidance students learn how to translate their sketches into, paintings, sculptures and prints. Each term children create works on paper to develop an understanding of how they will approach their significant framed work, painting on canvas or sculpture. Art class students 10% discount on each school holiday workshop.
Term 1: Fundamentals of drawing and painting.
Term 2: Animals and Nature, printmaking and mixed media.
Term 3: Drawing and sculpture.
Term 4: Portraiture, figurative drawing and painting.
Teens' Friday afternoon art class
Term One - Course Description: Dive into the art of still life as we explore the fundamentals of drawing and painting a captivating still life. This course will study various techniques, including colour theory, measurements drawn from life and employing the Grid Method when working from photographs. Abstraction will be included as part of the eight-week program. Our main project will involve the creation of a significant artwork on canvas. For our older students, we encourage creative freedom, allowing them to select their subject matter.

Fundamentals of Drawing and Painting.
Term one-course Description: "Discover Still Life Art! Learn drawing and painting techniques. Create your masterpiece on canvas. Get creative with subjects you love!"

Afternoon tea 3.30 pm, class 4.00 pm - 6.00 pm

Fundamentals of Drawing and Painting.
Term one-course Description: "Let's Dive into Drawing and Painting Fun! Join us for an exciting adventure as we learn to use colours and shapes to create amazing artwork! We'll explore different materials and take pictures of fruits and shells. Plus, we'll pick our favourite artwork to hang up!"
Term one-time and dates: 8-week term
Time: 3.30 pm, afternoon tea, class, 4.00 pm - 5.30 pm.
